About Alison

Alison Moore (AoR)

A warm welcome to the Holistic Centre for Reflexology, Pulsing Rhythmic Bodywork and Japanese Facial Massage.

I offer a range of nurturing therapies, with a particular interest in supporting women in midlife and those who are carers. However, my treatments are open to anyone who would benefit from some time and space to deeply relax and release physical or emotional tension.

Please visit my website for more information about each treatment, or feel free to contact me for a no-obligation chat about which session might be most suitable for you.

Reflexology

Reflexology involves applying comfortable pressure to specific points on the feet or hands. It can be deeply relaxing and may help to promote a sense of calm and wellbeing, making it a lovely treatment for anyone who needs some time to pause and look after themselves, or is living with a health condition and would benefit from some additional support.

I am a Level 5 qualified Reflexologist and a Member of the Association of Reflexologists.

Pulsing Rhythmic Bodywork

A little-known form of bodywork that has so much to offer. Against a background of gentle, rhythmic rocking, the body is stretched and coaxed into softening and letting go of stresses and tensions that may have been unknowingly carried around for years.

Pulsing is performed on a massage couch, with the client remaining fully clothed.

I have completed advanced training in Pulsing and am currently the only registered Master Practitioner in the North with the Pulsing Association UK.

Japanese Facial Massage

A soothing combination of acupressure and facial oil massage that calms the mind and encourages deep relaxation, with the added bonus of a glowing complexion.

JFM includes treatment of the face, head, neck and shoulders, followed by a gentle foot massage (over socks) to leave you feeling relaxed but grounded.
